Perfect for kids and grown-ups alike, this 45-minute guided journey leads you through Tai Kwun’s most iconic and Instagrammable spots, revealing lesser-known tales through engaging storytelling and fun, interactive moments.
From curious facts to picture-perfect backdrops, this is a light-hearted way to explore the site, learn something new, and make lasting memories together.

1. TK FAN is entitled to register for “TAI KWUN GAMEBOARD | ENCORE! - HKJC Celebrates Tai Kwun 7th Anniversary: Tai Kwun Snap & Explore Family Tour” (the “Activity”) online exclusively. There may be an opportunity for walk-in participation if pre-registered participants do not attend. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
2. By applying for and/or attending the guided tour, you are deemed to have read and agreed with these terms and conditions
3. The activity takes approximately 45 minutes
4. Each registration includes admission for one child and one adult
5. Children under 12 years old should be accompanied by an individual over 18
6. Please arrive at the assembly point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be entertained and the reserved places shall be cancelled
7. Tai Kwun reserves the right to offer the remaining places to participants on the waiting list at the beginning of the activity
8. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email. Please present the email for the activity’s registration on the date of visit.
9. To protect personal privacy, please refrain from taking any unauthorised photography, video and audio recordings of docents and other participants during the activity
10. As there are steps, steep slopes and outdoor areas along the route, we recommend visitors to wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and to bring along umbrellas or raincoats. Please do not bring along bulky items
11. If there are too many visitors, Tai Kwun will arrange for admission according to the building capacity
12. The activity will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal No.3 or above is hoisted or the Red/Black Rainstorm Signal is issued within 3 hours before the activity begins. For instance, if Typhoon Signal No.3 is hoisted at 8:30am, the activity at 11:30am will be cancelled
13. The activity are subject to change without prior notice. Tai Kwun reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the arrangements
14. According to the Bye-laws, all persons who enter Tai Kwun will be deemed to have granted its approval to Tai Kwun undertaking the following activities without making any payment or notification to any such persons:
    a) taking photographs, making a video or cinematograph recording and/or using any sound or image recording equipment at any place within Tai Kwun; and
    b) reproducing the image and/or voice of any person who enters Tai Kwun and using the same for any purposes as Tai Kwun shall think fit
15. Hand sanitiser is provided at the activity assembly point

This May, Tai Kwun marks a milestone with ENCORE! – HKJC Celebrates Tai Kwun 7^th Anniversary, a city-centre celebration of creativity, community, and connection. Anchored by Tai Kwun Gameboard, the site is set to transform into a playful landscape, where board games will stretch across the Parade Ground, pickleball takes over the Prison Yard, and moments of shared joy will unfold around every corner.

This anniversary celebration brings an exciting lineup of programmes designed to delight every visitor. From engaging guided tours that reveal the hidden stories behind Tai Kwun’s most Instagrammable corners, to explorations of the art galleries, hands-on creative workshops that spark imagination, and a fanciful street parade from the French May Arts Festival, Tai Kwun invites visitors to see familiar spaces in unexpected ways.
