Experience the captivating fusion of folk elements and classical music as Fazıl Say meets Dvořák. Czech composer Dvořák’s Dumky Trio masterfully contrasts melancholy and joy through six vibrant movements rooted in Slavonic traditions. Turkish composer Fazıl Say’s Space Jump captures the awe and thrill of Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking leap from the stratosphere, while Alevi Fathers at the Raki Table brings the lively conversations of Anatolian villagers to life through a dynamic woodwind quintet. This eclectic programme promises a refreshing musical journey across cultures and eras.  

The concert runs approximately 70 minutes without an intermission.
