Triad into the One: Yohji Girl Solo Exhibition
"We will not bleed into each other’s colors; instead, like black, we will absorb every wavelength of one another, tearing down our existing beliefs to become each other's religion."
With black silk suspended to define the boundaries of the space, artist Yohji Girl (Charley) uses paint as her medium to interweave the concepts of occult alchemy and liminal space. The exhibition explores the fragmented narratives of modern spiritual ruins and, through an excerpt from her original story Ys And Happy Ever After, exposes the absurd nature of the modern soul caught between destruction and obsession.

About the Artist: Yohji Girl (Charley)With a background spanning journalism, commercial screenwriting, and artistic creation, Charley has written for Hong Kong television series such as White War, In the Line of Fire, and Iron Ladies. She previously held the installation art exhibition The Pure and Turbid Water, where she tore apart her 2020 novel The Sun in Iceland Has No Light. By using the torn pages to decorate the space, she deconstructed the text into an immersive sensory experience, redefining the act of reading. This residency continues her signature creative style and approach. Wrapped in magical realism and avant-garde aesthetics, and infused with Jewish Kabbalah philosophy and Jungian psychology, her work explores the possibilities of narrative and sensory transformation.
