Spring is Blooming in Tai Kwun with Alexandre Benjamin Navet by Van Cleef & Arpels

Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the spirit of spring with the transformation of Tai Kwun’s Parade Ground into a joyful playground. Created in collaboration with French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet, a creative partner of Van Cleef & Arpels since 2020, the season of rebirth is given a fresh narrative in an unexpected world of adventure that blooms in Central Hong Kong from the first day of Spring, bringing to the city abundant color. You are invited to celebrate the colorful Spring with us at Tai Kwun on Friday March 21st, until Sunday April 6th.

Echoing this initiative, dancer and choreographer Némo Flouret will present a site-specific performance of “900 Satellites” at the Prison Yard, along with his dancers. Performance timings are as follows:

Among the many colorful blossoms gifted by Mother Nature, spring flowers carry the most auspicious meanings, inspiring poets, designers, architects, painters, and jewelers around the world!

Van Cleef & Arpels invites you to join the In-Person Conversation organized by L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, with Olivier Segura, Managing Director of L'ÉCOLE Asia Pacific in conversation with artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. 
This discussion explores the connection between blooming gardens and colored gemstones, focusing on Flora in Design and Jewelry Arts through the perspectives of an artist and a gemologist. In the realms of Fine and Decorative Arts, floral motifs showcasing flowers, buds, pistils, petals, branches, and leaves have adorned precious objects with their vibrant colors and symbolic significance. We invite the public to celebrate the new season at a lovely evening event in Tai Kwun!

TK FAN Exclusive: Handmade Windmill Making Workshop for Kids

Van Cleef & Arpels presents a limited-edition handmade windmill-making workshop, inviting children aged 4 to 8 to participate. Designed in collaboration with French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet, whose immersive installation takes over Parade Ground from Friday March 21st, until Sunday April 6th, the hand-made windmill-making workshops on designated Saturdays and Sundays allow participants to celebrate the joy of Spring, working firsthand with Navet’s vivid and exuberant floral illustrations to make their very own windmill.
