These days children have much less chance to go out since most schools are going “virtual” under the epidemic, and it is understandable that reduced social interaction and physical activity can lead to a drop in the happiness level. More than ever, it is vital to spread positive energy in the community. In fact, we believe that everyone has the ability to create happiness and share it with others.

To generate positive energy and share happiness with the public, Olympian City is pleased to present the “Joyful Adventure” happiness creation project. It is now inviting children aged 5-12 to join the Joyful Adventure Kids’ Advisory Board and bring in their expertise in creating happiness. The Joyful Adventure Kids’ Advisory Board will work in 2 teams, each team will have 8 quotas, and 16 quotas in total.

The first 100 applicants may receive a HK$50 eslite bookstore coupon. (Terms and conditions apply; applicants are required to provide a mobile number which can receive local SMS, as details on coupon collection will be sent by SMS after the application deadline.)

The Joyful Adventure Kids’ Advisory Board will work in 2 teams:

“Joy Delivery” Advisory Team:

Led by award-winning balloon magician Wilson, who has extensive experience in magic and balloon performances and installations, the “Joy Delivery” team will unleash their potential in creating happiness by coming up with a series of activities which they will perform at Olympian City to deliver fun and joy to everyone!

Cheer Me Up Programme Planner Advisory Team: 

Led by professional kids event planning consultant Kevin, whose experience spans the US, Canada and Hong Kong, the “Cheer Me Up” team will create a series of fun activities for maximising happiness. The successful applicants will have a taste of programme planning and the opportunity to sharpen their problem-solving skills. The conceived activities will be presented to the public at the atrium of Olympian City under the "Joyful Adventure" campaign.

To apply, please follow the steps below (application deadline is 30 May 2021):

1. Send us a “Joyful Adventure Proposal” answering the following question:

- What activities make people happy and what activities should be included in the Joyful Adventure?

(the proposal can be in the form of PowerPoint, drawing, photo and/or video no longer than 1 minute)

2. Fill out the online registration form https://bit.ly/2Ro6fCy , select the team you want to join, and upload your "Joyful Adventure Proposal" (For PowerPoint presentations, drawings and photos, please upload pdf or jpeg files of no more than 3MB; for videos, please provide the link)

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted on or before 3 June 2021 regarding interview arrangements. The interviews will be held at Olympian City / on Zoom on 5 or 6 June 2021.

Successful applicants will be notified on or before 8 June 2021. They must attend all meetings of the Joyful Adventure Kids’ Advisory Board to become official Olympian Kids Imagineers.
