The first-ever Japanese craft meadery, Antelope, recommended by many local Michelin-starred restaurants, will be hosting Hong Kong’s first immersive tasting event at PMQ Taste Library.

SUZU WINE, Hong Kong & Macau’s exclusive distributor of Antelope, will bring a selection of their creations (Including Hong Kong LIMITED EDTION & 5th anniversary limited edition work that has not been released), as well as the story behind their production all the way to Hong Kong from Shiga Prefecture, Japan. (6 types of mead to be provided for tasting, with small bites)

“Is Mead Sweet?”

Antelope’s creations blend honey with seasonal Japanese fruits, spices, and tea leaves, combining the team’s creativity to handcraft each unique mead. This approach challenges the common perception that mead is merely a fermented sweet wine.

The first immersive tasting event promises a new experience, allowing participants to appreciate the works while gaining deeper insights into the ecological systems behind the ingredients and the brewery’s corporate social responsibility.
